- FAQ
Where does this tour go?
This full-day tour takes you to the interior of Banderas Bay and includes a stop at one of the local towns, a 45-minute nature hike and an off-roading excursion through the forest. Then we head back out to the bay to enjoy a freshly prepared lunch on a private beach property.
How difficult is the hike?
We have a number of different trails and your guide will choose one that best suits your group. Plan to walk over uneven ground and some uphill inclines. The hike is approximately 45 minutes and the forest can get very warm.
Will we see wildlife and native plants?
There’s no guarantee exactly what you will see, but our guides are trained to look for and point out interesting wildlife and plants. It’s likely that you’ll see iguanas, snakes and many types of tropical birds. There are also many insects like termites, nests and cutter ants. The plant life is abundant and includes Orchids, Bromeliads and Strangler Fig Trees.
Is this tour suitable for all ages and abilities?
This tour includes moderate physical activity and the ride can get quite bumpy. For these reasons, we don’t recommend this tour for children under 8, expecting mothers, people with back problems or those with difficulty walking.
Can I swim at the beach at the end of the tour?
The tour ends at a beautiful beach on the Pacific Ocean where the surf can get quite rough, so swimming is not always possible.
